📜 Two books are quoted by name but never included
The Old Testament references at least two texts as sources — the “Book of Jasher” and the “Book
of the Wars of the Lord” — as if the reader would already recognize them. Neither survives, and
neither made it into any canon. They’re cited the way a modern article might cite a source, then
simply never appear again.
